a well stocked library (maybe your local university) is an amazing place to discover new things to read! the local university of arizona has an original manifesto from roberto bolaño when he was an infrarealist which i think is really cool. they often have a lot of eclectic books from like the 60s 70s when the cool librarians were buying books. i love libraries. will get back to things i read later

amazon is significantly less fun to browse because their recomendation algorithms tends towards the safe instead of the surprisng but ive found some good treats from diligant searching there too

i have a pretty long goodreads to-read list that i add to when i feel like it. sometimes it'll be because i saw some list on some website, or a good review, or i just see something that appeals to me or something i want to learn more about. that way i have a reference whenever i'm at the store.
