And honestly you could go even farther than it went. A lot of hobbyist game and modding projects are overly ambitious in a manner that you feel is to a large degree dictated by pressure to succeed. And that's bollocks! Thomas the Tank Engine Skyrim mod is amazing and the best of all, it got done.
But yes, a very good piece.

super interesting read, especially for me as someone who doesn't ever play platformer type games because I find them way too difficult.
