Anime sometimes misses its schedule but at least it has one. Very powerful.

That's gonna change if digital distribution becomes the norm in Japan. Also, children's animation will be replaced by this and adult animation by VR since otakus only care about fanservice anyways.

Youtube is filled to the brim with weird videos for kids, some of which might be computer generated since I don't believe that otherwise anyone could produce 20 minutes of animation like this. The reason is apparently that kids will watch just about anything.

There was a Reddit thread on the topic which was quite disturbing since it seems that there are legitimate troll children's videos that seek to cause psychological distress or that have sexual content in them.

tbh I think the apologetics, all the comments vouching for Parental Responsibility to the level of omnipotency and omniscience and remove them completely from the Internet when their phones, TVs, tablets, computers, microwave ovens are all connected.

fucking shit, I'm honestly so glad that online video was basically inaccessible when I was growing up because dial up.

i was joking, mostly, but the scheduling thing might eventually change, but it's hard to be a clairvoyant and tell where the industry might go.

was that link children's animation by children for children?

[–]devteslau gonna eat that 1 point2 points ago

That would be cool. This was bad

It was claimed that these are computer generated vids for children. If not, then at least all the comments and such are bot generated. Someone just wants to make money and apparently children are the perfect audience.

wow that is absurdly shitty. i hope youtube just quietly deletes it.

Afaik YouTube is both unwilling (sweet children's attention for advertisement money) and fundamentally can't since about 400 hours of video is uploaded every minute.
