Backing up the site is becoming a bit bigger a task than I thought (every page has a billion links to the same stuff e.g. all those links on the bottom and I have to figure out how to blacklist it all), and thefempire.org doesn't even even use SSL to begin with so I figure we wont' be any worse off. I just want to post somewhere that's not slow as hell but also isn't reddit.
We don't have easy access to thefempire.org so we've been throwing around ideas for a new domain, and have settled, at least temporarily, on jstpst.net. This means we would become just post rather than the fempire, which as I've expressed before is fine with me because I would like moving away from our association with SRS anyway.
If anyone wants to help me out with this, get me an SSL cert for jstpst.net. I have no idea what the process is for this kind of thing but I hear there are several free services (one run by mozilla) that provide free certs.
