this is interesting but the author of this article is trying really really really hard to be funny and quirky and it makes me kinda uncomfortable esp the part where they reference child abuse (a 'show me on the doll where the researchers touched you' joke or something) like it really wasn't that necessary...................................

i mean im not saying it has to be all serious and stuff just that like if a punchline doesn't come naturally there's no point in trying to squish one in there it just comes off as choppy and jarring it's okay if there isn't a joke in every paragraph :/ :/

the actual content is cool though it really is.

Hey there, I'm the author of the article and I'm sorry that it seemed like I was trying to squeeze too many jokes in. It's just my writing style and it wasn't intentional but it probably didn't help that I wrote it late at night, in a rush, with no proof reading afterwards. Reading back over it I can see where you're coming from and I'll try to take it into account in the future.

As for the "doll" joke, you're right that it's problematic and I hadn't even thought of that. I've edited that line out, thanks for mentioning it.
