i take one medication thats saved my life and two more to manage the side effects of it, i dont really think there is anything wrong wiith this?

for people without chronic illness or disability they can have the privilege of thinking of being on medication as being inherently bad or unhealthy but sorry i dont see the issue here

Drug companies recommend that doctors prescribe opioids in a dangerous way, and as a result we've seen a huge increase in cases of opioid addiction. Instead of fixing their product and their messaging to doctors, they have instead realized there is a huge market in treating the effects of their own drugs.

Opioids are incredibly important, but it's incredibly clear that the drug manufacturers have only profit motivations in mind, and the effects can be devastating.
