heck yeah I mean the majority of tee eff is very woman friendly but I think having a specific forum for women's perspectives and issues is really great too so I'd be happy to participate

(also I completely forgot that I was subbed to this community so I checked the other posts and realized that there was only one other post in this forum. yikes!)

OFFTOPIC: Ok I admit I got here from /r/all/new and didn't look which sub I was in - maybe Reddit the website and the software just could let users filter subs from /r/all? That wouldn't stop clueless to stop posting, but at least willing dudes like wouldn't end up doing this.

There was a hilarious meme about 2XC back in the day on Prime about how filled to the brim with men it was andbprolly still is.

Would you like the admins to declare /r/women be a no cis male posting space ala srswomen?

god remember when srswomen opened and men screamed about it for days? and SRSSucks lurked it and crossposted shit to their sub for like, months? at least a year

oh, SRSsucks, that takes me back...I can laugh about it, now. Hell, I mostly laughed about it then.

I also liked the existence of the srsmen sub. It gave a space for people to post certain questions or discussions from a feminist perspective without having to go whataboutthemenz in another sub.

personally I don't think there's a need to do that in TF since everyone on here is pretty great. but it would be a little silly if it was mostly cis guys posting so as long as they don't post too much lol

i think it would be good to have a space where people could post with total certainty they wont need to consider cis-male opinion or post views at all

in that case should this be a private sub?

/r/women won't be a private sub, sorry.

sure why not? also if it wound up being very active it would make moderation much easier. i haven't seen any trolls around here for a while but when they do show up they can be very persistent

I'm sure we could trust TF men to not be invasive in such a way, no?

I completely agree. I was referring to madbro's comment, since you can't be totally certain that no cis male will read it (newcomers, random people who find the site, who knows).

This was necessary on reddit, I'm less sure if it would be necessary here. I kinda trust guys here to be much less likely to post, and if they did, not in a shithead way.

That being said, I recommend seeing what grey wants to do.
